Green soybean, AKA Edamame. An early maturing, easy to grow, disease resistant bush variety. 55-60 days from sowing. Plant has robust stalk, does not need to be trellised. Pick when pods are green and filled with the beans inside. Delicious boiled with fennel seeds, bay leaves and salt. Plant in late spring when the soil temperature warms up to 60 degrees. Sow 1" deep in rows 18" apart, leave 8" between each plant.
